In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: 23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister; Colossians 1:22-23
Our faith defines and shapes us. It leaves a deep mark upon our heart, mind, and soul. So great is this mystery that it determines our every move, our every step. Our faith is inseparable from us, acting noetically in our very being.
The Apostle Paul exhorts us to continue in the faith of the Gospel, the “Evangelion”, the good news. This news is life and light to us. It promises a new life, new hope, and eternal blessings. To realize the fullness we must remain grounded in that true faith “once delivered unto the Saints” and this is the faith of the Apostles, the Orthodox Faith.
