Compassionate and merciful, long-suffering, most gracious and true Lord, look down from Thy holy dwelling place and hear us that pray to Thee: deliver us from all temptation whether of the devil or of man, and remove not Thy help from us, nor bring upon us chastisements too heavy for our strength. For we are not able to withstand conflicts, but Thou art able, O Lord, to save us from all adversities. Save us, O God, from the hardships of this world, according to Thy goodness, that having entered unto Thy holy altar, with a pure conscience we may without condemnation send up to Thee, together with the heavenly hosts, the blessed and Thrice-Holy Hymn; and that having accomplished the Divine Liturgy well-pleasing to Thee, we may be deemed worthy of life everlasting.
For holy art Thou, O Lord our God, Who dwellest and restest in the saints, and unto Thee do we send up glory and the Thrice-Holy Hymn, to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages.
